ROBERT SKINNER was born and raised in Kaurna country, on the Adelaide Plains. His writing appears frequently in The Monthly, and has also been featured in Best Australian Essays, Best Australian Comedy Writing, Internazionale, as well as the International Reader’s Digest, thus fulfilling a lifelong dream . . . of his father’s. He currently lives in Melbourne where he works in a bookshop and plays football at the lowest level.
