LESLEY DOWNER

LESLEY DOWNER is an author, journalist and historian. She has travelled all over the world and given lectures at the Japan Society, Asia House, the Royal Geographic Society, the British Museum and the Japan Society in New York. She has written four novels, and several works of non-fiction, including The Brothers, which was chosen as a New York Times “Book of the Year”. She lives in London with her husband, the author Arthur I. Miller.
