ANGUS TRUMBLE

ANGUS TRUMBLE is the author of A Brief History of the Smile, Love and Death: Art in the Age of Queen Victoria and The Finger, A Handbook. He is Senior Research Fellow at the National Museum of Australia

and a former director of the Australian National Portrait Gallery. Until January 2014, he was senior curator of paintings and sculpture at the Yale Center for British Art.
